Claire Danes' Elegant Hair and Makeup at the Emmys

In order to get voluminous waves, Peter needed lots of texture, but wanted to keep the look smooth, so he started off with Frizz-Ease Sheer Solution Lightweight Frizz Control from root to tip on Claire's damp hair.

Next, he applied this styling mousse to her damp hair to make it easier to style. He blow dried the hair with a round brush and found a nice deep side part. Then he used a 1-inch barrel curling iron and curled the hair towards her face.

Once he finished curling the whole head, Peter went back and combed through the curls to create more natural looking waves. He set the look with a mist of Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hair Spray.

Matin started off with Laura Mercier Moisture Suprême Foundation in Sunny Beige to even out her complexion.

Next, he touched up any blemishes with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC-3.

To enhance her natural glow, Matin used this pink cream blush for a "healthy flush."

The eyes were Matin's focal point, so he used this super black liner to make Claire's eyes pop.

Next, he went back and used the Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Gold to heavily line her eyes.

To complete the eye, Matin combined the Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour in Burnished Copper and Laura Mercier Sequin Eye Colour in Black Ice to create a metallic look.

Lastly, Matin modernized the glam look with a matte nude lip.
