The Best Cream Eye Shadows, Period Klaudia Tirico
Guys, I think I’m finally over my winged liner phase. A cat eye has been my go-to look for, like, two years, so this is a huge deal for me. My newest love affair is with cream eyeshadows. And for someone who hardly ever wore eyeshadow in the past, I can't believe I'm even writing this. I’ve had these five formulas on rotation for the last month and I don’t plan on switching it up anytime soon. They come in a ton of gorgeous colors, don’t make a mess on my face like powder shadows do when I apply them, and they stay on forever without creasing. What’s not to love?

Best Waterproof Formula Klaudia Tirico
Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Créme Color, $18 at Anastasiabeverlyhills.comAnastasia Beverly Hills isn’t just for brows anymore. The brand is slowly expanding to color cosmetics and, if these Waterproof Créme Colors are any indication, everything will be the bomb. I’m currently wearing Lavish now and I’ll tell you this much: it doesn’t feel like I have anything on my lids and the color looks just as good now as it did when I put it on at 8 a.m. this morning. No matter how hard you rub, it will not come off with just water, but it disappears in a flash with one swipe of makeup remover. Win, win! You can go scuba diving while wearing these and I guarantee they will stay on. -
Best Drugstore Option Klaudia Tirico
Sonia Kashuk Pearlescence Longwear Creme, $8.99 at TargetThink of these as non-sticky lip glosses for your eyes. They look the part, don’t they? That’s what makes them so easy to apply. I use the doe foot applicator to put the silky color on and then just blend it in with my fingers. It’s the fastest way to get a gorgeous metallic eye, period. These also make for awesome base colors for powder shadows, or in my case, more creams! My favorite shade, Tiger’s Eye, looks pretty enough on its own – natural with a hint of metallic sheen. -
Best Stick Shadow Klaudia Tirico
Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop Eye Stick, $28 at SephoraIf you’re like me and can’t fit your fingernails in tiny pots, these Eye Sticks from Marc Jacobs Beauty are for you. They’re thin enough to get close to the lash line as an eyeliner, yet thick enough to smear all over your lid in seconds. The hint of shimmer makes them great for both day and night wear. But my favorite thing about them is the cool soothing sensation the formula leaves on my lids (they’re infused with Alpine snow water from the Swiss Alps to hydrate). -
Easiest to Blend Klaudia Tirico
Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Mono Cream Eye Colour, $36 at SephoraIf you think that getting a complete eye look with cream shadow is impossible, you haven’t tried Dolce & Gabbana’s fluffy formula. The whipped texture blends effortlessly with a makeup brush and can even be used to create a clean line, too. I plan on rocking Dahlia, a shimmering plum, to every formal event and holiday party on my calendar. -
Best Texture Klaudia Tirico
Lâncome Hypnose Dazzling, $22.50 at NordstromWarning: you’re going to be dipping your fingers in these Lâncome pots all day long. The limited-edition shadows are like Play-Doh for your eyes. The color payoff is ridiculous once you get around to putting them on, and the formula is light as a feather on your lids. They even come with a tiny brush! They only come in three stunning shades, so why not buy them all?
