Spring’s Must Have Hair Accessory: Fancy Croakies

 

You know Croakies, right? Those neoprene sunglasses straps that your dad and a certain subsets of preppy frat dude wears? Well, in the grand normcore tradition of Céline pool slides and Proenza Schouler drug rugs, Alexander Wang has created a fancy version of the look for Balenciaga. At the fashion house’s Spring 2015 runway show, models cinched their sleek hair (which was expertly flat-ironed by Redken Creative Consultant Guido) with a beaded band that held onto the arms of their sunglasses. But the Balenciaga girl is no stranger to wearing her headband backwards. The look echoed the demilune halos models wore on the runway for Spring 2013.
