Pick of the Week: Fresh Soy Moisturizing Cream SPF 20

Fresh’s first sunscreen-spiked moisturizer was worth the wait. This new SPF 20 addition to the Soy skincare collection is all-around pretty amazing. Not only does its creamy-yet-lightweight formula absorb to leave my skin velvety with zero greasy residue, it contains antioxidants from tea and sea lavender protect the skin from environmental stress (hello, pore-clogging NYC air pollution). My skin has been sensitized lately (blame the occupational hazards of experimenting with too many products), which means I have both dry patches and an oily T-zone, and this moisturizer helps balance everything out. It’s a bit pricey, yes, but I happen to believe that a good everyday moisturizing SPF is the most important product in any beauty regimen. Wouldn’t you agree?
