ROYGBIV: See Fashion Week’s Most Colorful Makeup Klaudia Tirico
There is nothing that disappoints us more than seeing no makeup-makeup, plain hair and nude nails on the runway. So uninspiring! In a sea of not-so-memorable looks at New York Fashion Week this season, you have to give credit to the designers who chose to stand out and send models down the runway wearing colors of the rainbow. Roy G. Biv never looked this good.

Red at BCBG Klaudia Tirico
Val Garland for MAC Cosmetics took the red eye to BCBG. To create the bold wine eyeshadow look, she used a lip liner (MAC Vino Lip Pencil) as a base, applying at the crease and blending into the socket. To add more pigment, Garland added a berry eyeshadow (MAC Eyeshadow in Organic) on top, also blending into the crease.Photo by: OPI -
Orange at Helmut Lang Klaudia Tirico
Burnt orange was the color of choice for the eyes at Helmut Lang. Hannah Murray for NARS gave the eyelid "a hint of punk" using Deborah Audacious Lipstick (new for fall 2014) under a layer of Heat Pressed Powder.Photo by: NARS -
Yellow at Vivienne Tam Klaudia Tirico
Maud Laceppe added a hint of sunshine to the models' eyes at Vivienne Tam. Inspired by '70s dolls, Laceppe used MAC Cream Color Base in Au Naturale, blending it on the lid and working her way through the crease and lower lash line. The color really popped against the chocolate eyeliner and sultry false lashes.Photo by: Getty -
Green at Derek Lam Klaudia Tirico
At Derek Lam, Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux was inspired by a lagoon, hence the pools of gray and green around the eye. He blended Estée Lauder Pure Color Instant Intense EyeShadow Trio in Camo Chrome (darkest shade) and Pure Color EyeShadow in Ivy Envy to get the look.Photo by: Estée Lauder -
Blue at Creatures of the Wind Klaudia Tirico
James Boehmer for NARS really knows how to make eyes pop. At Creatures of the Wind, the focus was on the thin blue liner (NARS Khao San Road Larger Than Life Eyeliner) at the lower lash line. It's simple, but makes a statement.Photo by: NARS -
Indigo at Ann Yee Klaudia Tirico
And the award for coolest runway lip goes to Fatima Thomas of MAC Cosmetics, who painted models' pouts a rich indigo at Ann Yee. Dare to try the look? Thomas mixed MAC Pigments in Marine Ultra, Rich Purple and Magenta.Photo by: Aveda -
Violet at Rachel Comey Klaudia Tirico
Inspired by Dover Street Market girls, Hannah Murray for NARS added a hint of plum to the lower lash line, smudging it a bit to look more "lived-in." The look was achieved using Train Bleu Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and Desdemona Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow (new for summer 2014).Photo by: NARS
