Rings as Hair Accessories are Slowly Taking Over

Last summer, Shay Mitchell wore an interesting hair accessory to spruce up a simple side braid: a stacking ring! Who knew such a small accent could transform a simple hairstyle in such a unique way? 

 

This week, we spotted another braided look embellished with rings, this time on Bumble and bumble’s Instagram. Hairstylist Allen Thomas Wood used a handful of Lulu Frost rings and weaved them into the braid. While this is slightly different from the slide-on technique used for Mitchell’s style, it’s just as pretty (and you don’t have to worry about losing your favorite baubles!). Seriously, who needs hair accessories when you can just use what’s in your jewelry box. Am I right?
