Rihanna is Topless on a Magazine Cover — But Wait, Look at Her Nails

 

If you’ve been on the internet today, you may have seen Rihanna’s topless cover for French magazine Lui (or at least her response after Instagram removed the NSFW photo). The full frontal shot is pretty risqué, even for give-no-f*cks RiRi, but all we can manage to look at in the photo is…her manicure.

 

The long, square-tipped, French manicured nails are straight out of Jersey Shore, a trend that’s been dead since Snooki first strutted down the Seaside Heights boardwalk. But if you’ll remember back a few years, you might recall that Rihanna was one of the first to wear long, pointed “stiletto” nails back when they looked scary and dated. Now they’re everywhere. Is this squared off French mani — the normcore of nails — about to take off, too? We’ll be keeping an eye on Rihanna — at least, on her hands.
