#NoFilter: 12 Pore-Minimizing Products Regina George Would Love Klaudia Tirico
I may not be a mean girl, but Regina George and I have something in common. I, too, glance in the mirror and complain about how huge my pores are. (Yes, Cady, there are a lot of other things that could be wrong with your body; it’s not just fat and skinny.) But the difference between Regina and me is that I live in a world where Instagram filters and beautifying apps exist (and I thank the beauty Gods everyday for that).I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I don’t post a selfie until it’s been edited in moreBeaute2. It’s the only app that brightens and blurs your face to perfection. I guarantee it will boost your self-esteem by at least 50 percent. (You’re welcome.) But my journey for poreless skin doesn’t stop there. I'm constantly searching for products that will make my skin look like it’s been permanently filtered. If the packaging claims to erase, hide, diminish or blur my pores, I’m game. Which brings me to these 12 pore-minimizing products.I spent the week testing these primers, foundations and powders to make finding the perfect product easier than using the blur tool in Photoshop. Tinted Primers Klaudia Tirico
In my opinion, I don't see much of a difference between tinted and translucent primers. I wear primer under my foundation, so whether it's tinted or clear doesn't make a difference to me. But, if you're a no makeup-makeup kind of gal with large pores, opt for the tinted version. It won't look like you're wearing anything, but it will even out your skin tone while blurring your complexion.

Benefit The Porefessional Klaudia Tirico
This is the primer I used way before writing this story. Although it looks like it has a tint, it actually goes on translucent. I'm obsessed with the silky texture. Although my skin can get a little too dry with it on in the winter, it's the only primer I trust to get me through an entire hot summer day without my makeup completely melting off.

Dr. Brandt Skincare Pores No More Pore Refiner Klaudia Tirico
Oily skin doesn't stand a chance against this guy. Seriously, it's made to control excess oil production. It's the most lightweight primer in the bunch, and although it isn't as pore-minimizing as some of the other primers I tried, it feels so amazing on the skin and is really great as an alternative to powder.

Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer Potion Klaudia Tirico
This primer may be thick, but it truly locks makeup in place and keeps it there all day long. It's the kind of product you need when you know touch-ups won't be an option (stock up on this baby during music festival season!).
$31, Sephora -
Transparent Primers Klaudia Tirico
Again, choosing a transparent or tinted primer won't make much of a difference. But, a transparent primer is a great option for using on top of your foundation, bronzer and/or blush without messing everything up.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Klaudia Tirico
This new "pore eraser" from Maybelline is more of a spot treatment than a primer. Its thick, jelly formula works best on targeted areas. I definitely wouldn't recommend slathering it on all over your face. But that doesn't mean it doesn't get the job done. Pores are visibly blurred to flawless perfection. You also can't go wrong with the $7 price tag.

Tarte Clean Slate Poreless 12-HR Perfecting Primer Klaudia Tirico
There's one thing that this primer has that the others don't, and it's a total deal-breaker if you prefer to look poreless on vacation, too. This skin perfector is actually waterproof. Hello, poolside selfies and days at the tiki bar!$30, Macy's -
e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer Klaudia Tirico
All of these primers leave you with a matte finish, which is cool unless you really want to get in on the dewy skin trend for spring. This affordable pore eraser left my skin with the perfect amount of shine (the good kind). When it came to my pores, I did feel the need to add one of the foundations over this.

Foundation Klaudia Tirico
To be honest, it never occurred to me to use a foundation that hides pores. I was always pretty content with a primer and BB cream. It wasn't until I tried the these three foundations that I realized what I had been missing.

Lorac POREfection Foundation Klaudia Tirico
Long story short: I don't know how I lived without this foundation for so long. Thank you, Lorac, for bring this baby into my life. Aside from its good-for-you ingredients like vitamins A and E and olive leaf, lemon fruit and papaya fruit extracts, this makeup boasts a broad spectrum SPF 20 and completely hides any imperfections without looking like a thick layer of frosting. It's the only foundation that requires ZERO primer and powder. It's that good, folks.$36, Ulta
-
Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup Klaudia Tirico
For medium coverage, this foundation takes the cake. I really love how buildable the lightweight formula is. It's ideal for leaving a natural, matte finish on all skin types (even sensitive skin!). Honestly, you can never go wrong with Clinique.$27, Clinique.com -
Nuance Salma Hayek Flawless Finish Liquid Foundation Klaudia Tirico
If you think you have mostly perfect skin (lucky!), but could use a little something to blur your pores, this sheer foundation reigns supreme. It's actually the only pore-minimizing foundation I've tried that leaves you with a semi-dewy finish. And with a hydrating apple and lentil extract-enriched formula, it's the best option for dry winter skin.

Powders Klaudia Tirico
If you’re as crazy about hiding your pores as I am, you’re probably not using a pore-minimizing powder on its own. But that doesn’t mean you should disregard them completely. Gals with large pores tend to have oilier skin (it comes with the package, people), so a powder is clearly an essential. Sure, you may not need one in the winter when skin is dryer, but trust me, these pore-erasing powders will definitely come in handy once the humidity skyrockets.

Benefit the POREfessional: Agent Zero Shine Klaudia Tirico
First there was the POREfessionl primer, now Benefit has launched a sister powder that not only diminishes pores, but also targets unwanted shine. It's a tinted powder that goes on translucent. My favorite part about it is the tiny, built-in brush. It makes this powder ideal for on-the-go touchups.$30, Macy's

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Klaudia Tirico
I really don't think IT Cosmetics gets enough credit. Their products truly do what they say they do. This translucent powder is a perfect example. It's super lightweight, not cakey (AT ALL), and the results are silky perfection. And, as if that wasn't enough, it's infused with vitamins K, A, C & E.$24, Ulta
-
Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder Klaudia Tirico
Out of all three powders, this one visibly diminishes pores (almost like a primer). In fact, you can use it as both a primer and a finishing powder, which is cool, but I think it worked best over foundation. The texture is super silky and applies invisibly. I highly recommend keeping this in your clutch when you know you're going to be taking a ton of selfies. #Nofilter needed.$30, Macy's
