Organic and Wet at Vera Wang - NYFW Spring 2012
Wet hair looks seem to be a major trend for spring, but the look at Vera Wang takes the fresh-out-of-water idea quite literally. The hair created by Orlando Pita for by Byron Spirulina is supposed to mimic the way the wet hair clings to the shape of the head and neck as it dries.

"The look today is organic and simple beauty," Orlando said. "So it's just a great collaboration with Spirulina because they're all about organic." Orlando used the hairspray in the dry hair to create texture and actually pinned the hair at the neck to follow the shape of the head. At the ends he used serum to make it look like they're still wet.
To complement the organic feel of the hair, Lucia Pieroni for Cle de Peau created a glowing golden look for the makeup. "The look today is a little bit Upper East Side gorgeous," Lucia said. "She's a fabulous, glamorous girl, who's come back from some music festival, so she's gone a little organic - very natural, very beautiful, a litte bit glowy."
To create the glistening skin, she's using the Cle de Peau Luminizing Face Enhancer powder with an eye quad in neutral tones, both will be available in 2012. She used the highlighting powder down the nose, across the cheekbones and a little on the cupid's bow to give that candlelit appearance. For the lips she used the new Enriched Lip Luminizer in Honey nuts, which is a sheer toffee hue.
