Kate Hudson's Casual Smoky Eye

A pretty, bronze smoky eye is a great option for a daytime summer affair - just look at Kate Hudson at the premier of Clear History. Makeup artist Melanie Inglessis was inspired by the texture and drama of Kate's structured Balmain dress. “It always starts with the dress. The dress for tonight is short, structured and textured and I wanted the makeup to reflect that and emphasize Kate’s eyes,” says Melanie. “I wanted to give her a rock and roll meets feminine look to reflect both the dress and Kate’s feminine and strong personality."
