Get the Look: Karolina Kurkova's Super Easy Loose Ponytail

Lazy girls rejoice! The loose ponytail trend we saw on the runways this season is still going strong. Last night, Karolina Kurkova attended an Art Basel party in Miami showcasing her version of the low pony, which was very similar to the goddess ponytails at Valentino’s couture show. Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett shows us how to get the look with just a small, clear elastic and a bit of mousse and styling cream. File this under easiest runway and red carpet hairstyle ever.  

 

 

Step 1: “I blew her hair out with Leonor Greyl Mousse Au Lotus Volumatrice ($46), set it in soft waves, and then brushed them out.”

 

Step 2: “I secured the pony with a very small clear elastic slipped over the hair (not doubled up) so that it just barely held the hair together and sat very low on her shoulders, giving the appearance it was barely secured.”  

 

Step 3: “I finished with a few drops of Leonor Greyl Eclat Naturel ($46) through the ends." 

 

So pretty and so, so simple. Holiday hair: check. Now pair the style with one of these runway makeup looks and you're ready to party.
