Get the Look: Jessica Stam's Paris Fashion Week Hair & Makeup

We’re suckers for a killer braid, especially when it’s meant to soften a rather edgy look. The contrast is just really cool. Over the weekend, model Jessica Stam hosted the Tasting Night With Galaxy during Paris Fashion Week wearing a badass black jumpsuit with a cool braided updo and soft makeup. Braids with girly summer dresses are so obvious, so we’re super into this biker girl meets prairie girl look Stam has going on. Makeup artist Vincent Oquendo and hairstylist Jennifer Yepez give us a rundown of the look here.

"I prepped Jessica's hair with Kerastase Volumifique Spray and Mousse. Then I rough dried her hair and created a side part that best suited her face,” said Yepez. “Next I started a french braid on one side of her head, leaving a few pieces out to soften the look. I used a clear elastic to secure the end. I then repeated the same process on the other side of her head.”
