Essie Nail Polish Vending Machines Are Coming to an Airport Near You

 

Shopping for nail polish is about to get as easy as buying a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. This month, Essie is rolling out the Essie Color Boutique, a self-service digital kiosk that lets you buy a bottle of lacquer without waiting in line at the drugstore. The vending machine-like kiosks come stocked with 42 permanent shades and six seasonal hues (refreshed four times a year) and feature a touchscreen that offers product options and trends, including nail art how-tos. 

 

Can’t wait to buy your nail polish from a vending machine? The first kiosks will debut at Oakland International Airport and in the Jet Blue Terminal at New York’s JFK Airport, with more machines rolling out across the country at major airports and malls. 

 

Just promise you won’t paint your tips at 30,000 feet — a stuffy airplane is no place for polish fumes.
