DIY Time: Marc Jacobs Dot-Inspired Nail Art Kaitlyn Dreyling
We took some inspiration from Marc Jacobs' latest scent, Dot, to create a fun 3D nail art design. From the whimsical adornments to the polka dots, they're all elements that easily translate to easy-to-DIY nail art.

Polka Dots Kaitlyn Dreyling
Dip your dotting tool into a blob of black polish and create various sized spots on your red and gold nails. We found an embossing tool from a local craft store that we used as a dotting tool, but you can also use a bobby pin or even the tip of a pencil.

Polka Dots Kaitlyn Dreyling
Here's what our nails looked like after we finished spotting them. By making the dots various sizes, it adds to the whimsical design, and also means it does not have to be perfect.

Rhinestones & Charms Kaitlyn Dreyling
Using tweezers, accent your spotted nails with randomly placed rhinestones. Place one at the center of the base of your black nail. Lastly, using your top coat, dab a drop on your nail where you want to place the bow charm. Secure everything with a layer of a high shine top coat.

The combo nail art with 3D charms has a very similar feel to the Marc Jacobs Dot fragrance bottle!
