Kate Beckinsale's Glowing Summer Look

Makeup artist Molly Stern created a radiant look to complement Kate's reptile dress. She started off by prepping her skin with By Terry Serum De Rose for a glowing base.

"I prepped her eyes with Arcona Eye Dew which is ideal under eye shadow, it hydrates and smoothes," Molly explained.

To keep Kate skin glowing, Molly opted for Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation, which has sheer coverage with a luminous finish.

"Next I applied Laura Mercier Cream Blush in Oleander to the apples of her cheeks, and dusted NYX illuminating Bronzer in Magnetic on her high cheek bones to reflect the light."

Molly used NYX Cream Shadow in Gunmetal as the base all over her lids.

"I then brightened the shade by dusting the olive green shadow from YSL 5 Colour Harmony for Eyes in Garden of Eden all over the lid up to crease."

"To define Kate's lash line, I applied Hourglass Calligraphy Black Eyeliner as a base and then topped that off with Glam Liner Aqua Luxe by NYX in #08 which is a golden olive color," Molly said. "I lined underneath the lash line with the same olive liner to get a smudgey finish that would last all night."

"I curled her lashes with my trusted Shu Uemura lash curler and then applied two coats of Laura Mercier Full Blow Volume Lash Building Mascara."

"I blotted down my application of Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Canvas and topped that off with the uber sparkling NYX Glam Lip Gloss in #07 VIP."

Hairstylist Mara Roszak was inspired by the structured lines of Kate's gown, and went for a textured look that she described as "edgy and undone, with an effortless feel." To create great texture, Mara applied John Frieda Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse in Kate's towel-dried hair. Then she twisted small sections of hair while drying to create a tousled look.

Once the hair was completely dry, Mara teased the crown for volume and pulled the hair back into a loose braid. She pinned the ends under with bobby pins and let the pieces in the front fall out and frame her face. She finished the look with John Frieda Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hair Spray. Mara sprayed it on her fingers and then rubbed sections with the hairspray to add to the textured look.
