Bobbi Brown’s Lip Color Range is Getting a Major Update
By Wendy Rodewald-Sulz / June 25, 2014
When Bobbi Brown launched her namesake makeup line 23 years ago, she designed her 10 original Lip Color shades to look like natural lips, only better. The brown-based shades were a major departure from the bright, unnatural-looking lipsticks on the market during that era of big hair and painted faces.
The company has come a long way since 1991 (it’s been a part of Estée Lauder since 1995), but now Bobbi Brown is going back to her roots with a major overhaul of the original lipstick line. The new Crazy for Color Collection, debuting this July, will add 32 new and back-by-popular-demand shades to the existing Lip Color collection. The new hues range from neutral nudes to bold brights, and the creamy, long-lasting formula remains the same. The ‘90s are back, after all.
