Bathing Beauties Go Punk at Agua Bendita Swim 2014 Klaudia Tirico
Ever wondered how to stand out from the crowd at a pool party? Take notes from the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim shows - you're sure to find the hottest beauty looks and bathing suits to catch everyone's attention at your next summer bash. This year, we were backstage at some of the most anticipated shows of Miami Swim, including Agua Bendita, the smoking hot swimwear and apparel brand from Colombia. For the 2014 swim season, the design duo was inspired by the wildly popular punk trend, taking cues from this year's Met Gala looks as seen on starlets like Cara Delevigne and Sienna Miller. TRESemmé and Smashbox were there to bring the punk trend to life. Click through the slideshow for the complete details!

"We were going for rough and tough, but still controlled at the same time," said Tyler Laswell, who worked alongside Marco Pena with TRESemmé to create the hair look for the show. "Everyone is really into the undercut, which we've been seeing for a few seasons now and it's still not going away." The look was a tight slick on one side with a twist going down the back. "But you don't really have to worry about the twist because it's not about seeing it," he said. The rest of the hair was left down and given "bends" instead of curls. "We grab the hair with a flat iron and twist it, then pull it down and grab it and bend again, and so on," said Tyler. "It just makes it really random and almost messy." At the hairline, Tyler pulled the hair back into loose twists for some piece-y, rock and roll texture.

TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray - "On the roots to dampen it because it's a lot easier to twist the hair when it's kind of wet," said Tyler.
TRESemmé TRES Mega Firm Control Gel - "On the very top to the sleek side."
Hairspray - "A little bit at the ends and on the top," said Tyler.

The Punk Hair Accessory Klaudia Tirico
The piece de resistance was the punk hair accessory that the designers created for the models. "The influence is a rock n' roll, motorcycle feel," said Marco Pena. The hair comb was embellished with black material and lots of spikes and studs to complement the bathing suits.

Makeup by Smashbox Klaudia Tirico
Over in makeup, Laurie Taylor-Davis for Smashbox Cosmetics created a beautiful, bronze smokey eye and paired it with a nude lip. "It's just classic and very true to beach," she said. "It's for sexy girls only. You've got a little bit of black in there using our new Shadow Liners. That's what's giving the look a little bit more depth and dimension. It brings it to life." For the lips, Laurie mixed three different nude Be Legendary Lipsticks depending on each models' skin tone. "We just wanted it to be a warm nude. The colors are a range of nudes so based on the skin tone we're going to use less and more of the specific colors."

The punk look continued over in nails where Sashanie Gray opted for a "matte black, leathered look." Sashanie didn't want to take away from the line so she used Orly Nail Lacquer in Liquid Vinyl and topped it off with Orly Matte Top Coat.
