6 New Ways to Wear Eyeliner from the Fall 2014 Runways Klaudia Tirico
As someone who wears a cat eye every single day (seriously), I can appreciate a damn good eyeliner look when I see one. As much as I try to experiment with different looks, I can't seem to part with my Kardashian Beauty Deeply Felt Precision Eyeliner (so good and so cheap!). If you're like me and are looking for ways to switch up your liner game, drastic or subtle, look no further than these six shows that put a new spin on the line.

Artful Sweeps at Zac Posen Klaudia Tirico
The look at Zac Posen, according to Kabuki for MAC Cosmetics, was "a deconstructed take on 1940s glamour with a punk edge." He created these feather-like horizontal sweeps of MAC Black Creme Liner on the inner and outer corners of the eye, near the crease. It was a very cool and fool-proof way to frame the eye.Photo by: Zac Posen -
Detached Cat Eye at Rag + Bone Klaudia Tirico
"This is not your typical cat eye; this look is about pushing it to the edge with a more graphic liner,” said makeup artist Gucci Westman of the detached cat eye at Rag + Bone. The shape is similar to that of a classic cat eye, except it's lifted above the lash line at the edge. Westman used Revlon ColorStay Crème Gel Liner in Black.

Two-Tone Wing at Badgley Mischka Klaudia Tirico
Up the ante on your standard winged liner by adding a sweep of a different hue on top of the black. At Badgley Mischka, Tom Pecheux for MAC Cosmetics opted for a metallic gold line above MAC Fluidline Blacktrack.Photo by: Getty -
Asymmetrical Liner at Karen Walker Klaudia Tirico
For a more graphic approach, go the Karen Walker route and try this asymmetrical liner. Benjamin Puckey used Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Cosmetic Colour Pencil in Tarred to create the thick, triangle-shaped wing.Photo by: Getty -
Hollow Cat Eye at Herve Leger Klaudia Tirico
A filled-in cat eye is so last season. At Herve Leger, Val Garland drew this amazing geometric cat eye, leaving the center sans ink.Photo by: Getty -
Unexpected Break at Tanya Taylor Klaudia Tirico
We called it already: the lower lash line is having a major moment this season. Another example: the unexpected break of the eyeliner in the center of the bottom lash line at Tanya Taylor. NARS International Lead Makeup Stylist Uzo wanted to "give a modern, graphic edge" to the eye. She used NARS Via Veneto Larger Than Life Eyeliner.Photo by: NARS
