"We're doing a really pretty plum ombre eye," said lead makeup artist Mai Quyhn for Mark Cosmetics. "When I saw the collection at Rebecca's showroom - pretty prints and bold colors - I wanted the makeup to play off the clothes."
She layered colors from a rich jewel tone plum near the lash line to a softer shade above the crease.
Haven Spa in New York's Soho neighborhood collaborated with Essie to create the three-color nail art. Rebecca liked the idea of a reverse manicure, so the manicurists applied Essie Jazz as the base with Midnight Cami on the tip and a thin line of Wrapped in Rubies to add another touch of color.
The perfectly undone side bun was created by hair stylist Jeanie Syfu for Tresemme. She wanted to embrace the models' natural hair texture, so she sprayed 24 Hour Body Root Boosting Spray into the hair and diffused it using her hands about three to four times to build up the product in the hair. She then gathered the hair into a side pony that she twisted into a side bun. She kept the hair on the heavier side of the part out to frame the face and for movement on the runway.
