As founder and president of Carol's Daughter, a beauty line for hair, skin and fragrance, Lisa Price began working on her brand during her years on the set of The Cosby Show. She was making her own organic concoctions in her kitchen from ingredients like almond, jojoba and soy. She then started a mail-order business named after her mother Carol, which was then followed by her first store in Brooklyn in 1999. Now you can find Carol's Daughter items sold nationwide in Sephora, Nordstrom and other shops. Price has appeared on Oprah and The Tyra Banks Show, and she had a celebrity following with fans like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige.
