Kiehl’s LifeRide for amfAR
Chris Salgardo, President of Kiehl's USA, knows how important it is to the Kiehl's brand that the company give back to the community, so he's literally getting in on the action. From July 31 to August 6, Chris will be riding with Alain de Cadenet, Le Mans racer and ESPN "Speed Channel" host, and a slew of other motorcycle enthusiasts through the Northeast to raise funds for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.
In addition, Kiehl's is launching a limited edition specially packaged Ultra Facial Cream featuring a motorcycle motif to commemorate the ride. All of the net profits from the limited edition Ultra Facial Cream (up to $25,000) will benefit amfAR.
Here are the five stops LifeRide will be making throughout the week:
July 31: King of Prussia Mall, King of Prussia, PA 12.30-1.30PM
August 1: Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 11AM-1PM
August 4: Burlington Mall, Burlington, MA 10-11AM; Newbury St, Boston, MA 12-2PM
August 6: NYC Flagship Store, New York, NY 12-4PM (BBQ/Block Party)
In honor of LifeRide, Kiehl's will donate $5 to amfAR (up to $75,000 in total donation) for every customer that visits Kiehl's free-standing stores on those dates.
You can also support amfAR by texting LIFERIDE to 80888 and replying YES to confirm. Your $10 donation will appear on your regular monthly phone bill.
Kiehl's will be offering a Celebration Discount of 15 percent off all purchases at each host store on the day LifeRide makes a stop. For those unable to attend, Kiehl's will be extending complimentary ground shipping and a week's supply of Creme de Corps when you purchase the limited edition or standard Ultra Facial Cream online at www.kiehls.com. Just enter code LIFERIDE upon checkout. Through August 7.
