Pick of the Week: Rotating Curling Iron for Perfect Waves
By Kaitlyn Dreyling / June 4, 2012

The standard curling iron has been undergone various makeovers lately. They've gone clampless and the barrrel has been morphed into all sorts of shapes. But of all the recent innovations, the Beachwaver has me completely capitivated! It looks pretty much like your standard curling iron, but there's an extra set of buttons. You push the "L" or "R" buttons depending on which side of your face you're curling, and then you puch "GO," which rotates the barrel to give you a flawless wave. I'm pretty good at handling a curling iron - standard and clampless - so I just thought it was a gimmick. But after one use, I realized it really does make curling my hair fast, easy and foolproof. When I use a standard curling iron, my right side never comes out looking the same as my left side, but with the Beachwaver, the rotating rod does all the work, so your look is always consisitent. I've also used clampless irons to get a beachy wave, but it is time consuming, and it's a more advanced tool for at-home use. I've finally gotten that beachy texture with the Beachwaver, and all I have to do it puch a button - literally. It's a bit pricey, but when I consider how easy it is to do my hair everyday, I'm sold!
