DIY: Intergalactic Nails Klaudia Kaczmarek
Galaxies may be out of this world, but that doesn’t mean we can’t rock them on our nails. This crazy-cool nail art is far from rocket science, so we’re giving you the step-by-step on how to create it at home.
-
What you’ll need: Klaudia Kaczmarek
A dark base nail polish, a white nail polish, two different neon colors, a sheer glitter topcoat, and a few small pieces of a sponge (make sure it has lots of pores).
We chose:
CND ‘Midnight Sapphire,’ a dark blue.
Essie ‘Tour de Finance’, a hot pink.
Essie ‘Bright Tights’, a bright orange.
-
Step 1 Klaudia Kaczmarek
Start with two coats of the dark base color that emulates the night sky.
-
Step 2 Klaudia Kaczmarek
Take your sponge and paint a piece of it with your white nail polish. Then, tap off the excess on a piece of paper or napkin.
-
Step 3 Klaudia Kaczmarek
Lightly dab the sponge on your nail to create interstellar clouds. Don’t cover the entire nail – you still want to be able to see the base color.
-
Step 4-7 Klaudia Kaczmarek
Apply one neon shade on your sponge and pat it over the white. Then, do the same with the second – these are your star clusters. Get creative! Each nail should look different and it definitely shouldn’t look perfect.
-
Step 8 Klaudia Kaczmarek
Go over each nail with the sheer glitter topcoat.
-
Final Klaudia Kaczmarek
Just top it off with a topcoat and, ta da! You’ve got yourself and out of this world manicure!
